Vancouver Piano Sessions envisions a world where the freedom of self expression is fused with acceptance, respect and understanding of all humankind through the universal language of music which knows no limitations or prejudices.
MISSION
Vancouver Piano Sessions is an annual festival dedicated to deepening the understanding and appreciation of classical piano music. Musicians of all ages develop and refine their personal expression of humanity through the international language of music. The freedom to express oneself through performance is deepened by the ability to accept the visions of all people. Distinctively, we are the only piano festival to offer Mindfulness workshops, expanding the awareness of self and the importance of oneself in the broader collective environment. Through our Reconciliation and community Sessions, we create a more vibrant and harmonious future for Vancouver.
